After the giant ape crawled out of the rift, its appearance was indeed majestic. It was three to five times the size of a giant beast, while its head seemed a little small in comparison to its body. Yet there was no denying how terrifying it was!
To guard against every possible attack, I immediately used Shrinking Earth to leave any distance within its reach. But as expected, after sweeping its gaze around, the creature saw only the Rift-Splitting Ray. It immediately charged toward it!

The ground thundered beneath the giant beast's strides, each step shaking the earth. However, the Rift-Splitting Ray was countless times larger than it. After furiously swallowing and biting away half the body of a giant beast from the Demon Race, it seemed to look down on the giant ape, even appearing to want to swallow it too.
It seemed the Rift-Splitting Ray was a typical bully of the weak, fearful of the strong. But before long, it tasted the consequences of its recklessness.
The giant ape showed not the slightest fear when the Rift-Splitting Ray pounced at it. Instead, its enormous blood-red eyes glinted with a sinister light. After roaring, the giant ape quickly sucked in a breath, then spewed black flames at the Rift-Splitting Ray!

The flames poured down like a sky-wide waterfall, instantly licking across the underside of the Rift-Splitting Ray's body! Their heat was naturally scorching beyond measure. Just approaching them made me feel the vital energy throughout my body evaporating rapidly. After months of movement, the Rift-Splitting Ray was no longer at its peak. When it encountered those terrifying flames, it was practically being braised alive. It twisted in terror and frantically shot into the sky!
