Everyone listened to my description of the House's conspiracy as if they had been there themselves, their hearts rising and falling with every twist. Dongfang Jin, too, heard a more detailed account of Dongfang Gu and Dongfang Yu's conspiracy once again, her expression growing increasingly bewildered and complicated.
Fortunately, Dongfang Fu was too busy amusing the children to listen carefully. Otherwise, if he had heard the whole thing from start to finish, he probably would have cursed countless times along the way. Of course, everyone's feelings toward the ending were complicated as well. After all, the alliance between the House and Xia Ruize would become a troublesome nuisance, whether big or small.

By comparison, although Jun Qixing of the Southern Immortal Alliance was formidable, the Alliance had been governed by his son all these years. It was no longer as illustrious as it had been under his personal rule,
