"Oh, so from what you're saying, you've seen what's inside?" Di Yifei asked curiously as she took the book from my hands and examined it carefully. "I can't see anything in it, anyway. I really envy extraordinary people like you."
"Actually, I can't understand it either." I shrugged helplessly, making Di Yifei let out a chuckle. "Then why did you stare at it for so long? You made me bored just watching you look at it."
"Why were you staring at me for no reason?" I countered. The moment I tossed out the question, though, I felt that something was off. Sure enough, Di Yifei's face flushed crimson at once, and she coughed lightly. "Because you're the core of our group. Whenever I saw you holding this book with such a serious expression, I thought you were about to say something. Who could have guessed you'd look at it for half a day?"
"I suppose that was my fault." I gave an awkward laugh. Of course, I didn't believe she was really that simple-minded, but only then did I have the leisure to look elsewhere. At this time, apart from a group of Di Yifei's trusted aides, Linglong and Jinglian were both meditating nearby. Jiufang Su, however, was looking in our direction. When she noticed my gaze sweep over to her, the girl hurriedly looked away.
"Su'er, come over here." I smiled as gently as I could.
Jiufang Su froze for a moment, then nodded somewhat timidly. Finally, she came near me and knelt upright in front of me.
"Were you looking at this divine book just now?" I hurriedly asked. Jiufang Su nodded helplessly.
"Can you see what's inside?" I asked again, though I actually felt the possibility was slim.
Yet Jiufang Su nodded again and said, "Uncle, I
