"This is troublesome. Monsters like these always travel in groups, and of all times, they had to be lured here now. Looks like we'll have to find another time." Shengtu Wushuang spoke regretfully.
"Little Bai Ze is nearby." I knew this trip was relatively dangerous, but with no grown Bai Ze present and only a young one appearing alone, this was undoubtedly a good opportunity.
Beneath the marsh, the groups of black, beak-mouthed monster fish naturally gathered in greater and greater numbers. The entire marsh sea began to churn, and the long-legged, earthworm-like monsters were forced to leap into the air. In the end, they were either bitten in half, bursting into countless tiny flying insects, or swallowed whole into the mouths of the enormous monster fish!
Because the insects surged into the sky, they filled the heavens and earth. The whole area looked as though dark clouds had settled overhead, and locating Bai Ze's aura became extraordinarily difficult. Countless monster fish even suddenly shot out of the water to eat the insects, leaving us at a severe disadvantage nearby.
"This Bai Ze really loves joining in the fun!" I thought to myself. Perhaps giving up was the only option—or waiting until the fish finished feeding and the waters became peaceful again. At the very least, it would be best if Bai Ze were left alone.
Just as we were about to leave, that snow-white Bai Ze suddenly came bounding over, stepping on the backs of the fish in turn and sometimes leaping onto other branches. It charged all the way toward us, seeming to search for something as it ran!
While dodging the swarms of insects and fish, I looked toward Shengtu Wushuang, who was following not far beside me. We both saw a trace of excitement in each
