Swordforge Valley.
After studying the Sun Clan's three sword-forging manuals through the system, the steps of forging a sword had become clear to me. From beginning to end, what Sun Datian forged was actually no different from what I had imagined during meditation!
Under the bombardment of sword techniques and sword-staves, a massive chunk of golden iron was repeatedly hammered and compressed over the long process. As the sword refiner, Sun Dakai naturally kept kneading innate essence into it, making the entire sword shine with a chilling radiance while also brimming with spirituality.
As for hammering the golden iron flatter and flatter, sharper and sharper, Sun Dalian deserved the greatest credit in my eyes. Under his guidance toward its weak points, every blow from Sun Datian struck a dent into the golden iron. He had truly found its weak points. If he had hammered anywhere else, the golden iron could never have shrunk so dramatically, and the backlash would have shaken a person to the point of misery!
The three of them aided one another in a perfect trinity. That had also made the three brothers extraordinarily harmonious after years of living together. Even if they were allowed to spend another thousand years together, they would still need one another, because only feelings rooted in mutual need could endure forever.
As I watched them forge, I naturally learned a great deal, including the Sword Forging Manual and Sword Refining Manual. Since my foundation was solid, learning them was almost effortless. Compared to those two manuals, however, my foundation in the Sword Testing Manual was somewhat lacking, and I was nowhere near comparable to Sun Hanxi.
Although I had come into contact with quite a few top-grade swords, I had rarely studied them down to every inch and every detail.
