I certainly wasn't foolish enough to activate the Star Grand Array and wait for this stone coffin to come alive and cause trouble. I slowly approached the coffin and began examining its condition.
This stone coffin really had been made with an even tougher carbonized material, and its sturdiness was astonishing. After all, even the Sword of Creation could barely cleave it open. Of course, that didn't mean the coffin was truly airtight. As long as I pried open even the thinnest sliver and let the waters of the Thunder Pool flow inside, even if the founder of the Liumoon Immortal Sect managed to fake her own resurrection, she probably wouldn't have time to rush out before being electrocuted to death by the thunder slurry, right?
With that thought, I immediately drove the Tear of Creation into the seam between the coffin lid and the coffin body. However, the fit was far tighter than I had imagined. They had actually used a mortise-and-tenon structure. Once I drove the sword in to a certain depth, its tip struck a protruding tenon and could advance no farther. Whoever had designed this coffin was clearly quite shrewd.
After the idea of making a hole failed, I naturally refused to give up. I levered the long sword upward, intending to pry open a gap directly. To my frustration, however, the mortise-and-tenon structure was even tighter than I had imagined. Since there wasn't enough room to apply force, the Tear of Creation snapped out with a clang.
I secretly marveled that this coffin truly didn't let a drop of water through. Still, I naturally refused to give up. As long as I didn't activate the Star Grand Array, I still had plenty of ways to deal with this coffin!
I began using lightning techniques to
