The ruins were still unimaginably vast. I flew for a long time, yet the horizon remained endless. It was not quite a world of sandstorms, but the explosions had destroyed nearly everything that could be destroyed. Most of the area resembled a vast marshy ocean. Of course, there were still plenty of living beings in that ocean, though the variety was more like a mixed collection from Heavenly City—in other words, there were a few aquatic creatures from every region.
After touring part of the area, I found that most of the continental shelves were flat, likely as a result of the explosions. The sea was not deep, and there was not much land. Naturally, life was just as abundant. This could be considered a newly born realm, after all, with traces of the immortals' divine power influencing everything.
I soon found several familiar landmarks: the formation cores of the Starry Array. Even the great explosions had not completely destroyed them. Instead, they had become ruins scattered across the land.
I could not help feeling excited, and I had more or less worked out how this place had come into being.
It seemed that after the explosions, the ancient Immortal Realm that had originally blocked the thermal-nuclear breach in Heavenly City—in other words, the Starry Array itself—had also been affected. All the buildings and terrain here had been transformed. Of course, since the ancient immortals had originally been there to plug the breach, once the explosions ended and the New World formed, along with the birth of the new realm wall, the Starry Array had detached and fallen back into the Nine Heavens.
This had left a gigantic ancient Immortal Realm in the center of the original ring-shaped realm of Heavenly City. Seeing that the ancient Immortal Realm's walls were
