Finding something whose existence was justified was no difficult task for me, but finding something suitable for Ke'er was not so easy. I sank into meditation, sensing everything that existed in this world. After all, Creation was threaded through with my meridians. They were intricately intertwined, formed from the Dao I had created, so all of Creation seemed like the world inside my mind—clear as day, yet at times like memories sleeping in my sea of consciousness, forever beyond my recollection.

To detect or recall something, there had to be some object that resonated with it or offered some clue. Otherwise, wandering through the world of my own sea of consciousness would be even more bewildering and elusive than searching for a needle in the ocean.

This search was naturally much faster than looking for it myself, but even after finding them, it might not be something I could finish in a day or two. So I continued aimlessly, sensing the Laws and principles of every object in all my worlds.

Under the powerful flow of time, the changes here were extraordinarily abrupt. Too many things flickered into existence and vanished in an instant, like fetal movements. This showed that I was not the only existence in Creation. After Creation came into being, I existed, but so did certain anomalies. The coexistence of Laws was precisely the myriad aspects that the Dao itself should possess.

Of course, perhaps because the Dao of Creation was still too thin, my sea of consciousness was not very rich. The entire place was as dull as a desert. Even imagining such a world made me feel that it lacked far too much beauty.
