What surprised me even more was that, after the chaos, the beast horde began to recover. Once the vicious beasts stabbed to death had fallen, even those trampled to death were quickly replaced by other vicious beasts. Clearly, stirring up a storm in just one small area of this beast tide was impossible!
Moreover, the farther back they went, the larger the individual vicious beasts became. There were even beasts like the Grandmaster-level Horned Beasts. Their strength might not have been impressive, but they were huge, and when they charged, they didn't care what level of vicious beast was in front of them. They simply drove them onward. This was one of the reasons the beast tide formed.
Bluestone and Chu Ruo weren't having an easy time either. The vicious beasts chased and attacked them at the same time. Even with Hero-level strength, they couldn't gain much of an advantage against such numbers. They could only fight while retreating, and they even had to guard against ambushes from small, incredibly fast vicious beasts!
Bang! Bang!
Before I could decide where to reap more kills next, small vicious beasts attacked me from beside me. These beasts were only the size of tigers, not even as bulky as carrion beasts, but every one of them was at least Elite-level, with speeds reaching the Grandmaster level. Thus, when they pounced on this Gale Beast, they caused it no end of pain. It could only rely on its sturdy armor and Grandmaster-level artificial armor to defend itself.
But in my view, if I continued mixing around in this vicious beast tide, this Gale Beast definitely wouldn't last much longer. Yet if I simply fled, I wouldn't be able to serve as a blockade either!
However, escaping now probably wouldn't be easy. Suddenly, I noticed
