The Great City.
The city gates had already been replaced with the Dragon Turtle shells used to push back siege beasts. But this time, whether there were simply more legendary hunters, or those three legendary hunters were overly confident in their abilities, when we charged onto the hills outside the Great City, we saw the gates standing wide open. Many hunters had already rushed out to fight the beast horde. The area around the Great City was incredibly lively, with the cries of slaughter shaking the heavens inside and out!
There were many heroic fiendbeasts attacking the city, and even a legendary fiendbeast. The three legendary hunters had surrounded it, while Old Man Meng led a group of heroic hunters in launching continuous attacks against the fiendbeast horde besieging the city. One by one, they either drove the fiendbeasts into the moat or killed them beneath their weapons.
With legendary hunters present, the hunters' morale soared. It was completely different from the previous time, when only Old Man Meng and I had been there. Everyone fought as if they had been injected with stimulants, fearless of death.
The main battlefield, however, was still centered on the enormous legendary fiendbeast surrounded by those three legendary hunters. This fiendbeast was blue-gray all over, a fuzzy mass that looked utterly inconspicuous. Its entire body was wrapped in long fur. If it had not been constantly releasing clouds of poison gas and blasting out terrifying poisonous spines, then no matter what stretch of land it appeared on, it would have looked no different from a "stone" of green jade.
The reason we believed it was a legendary fiendbeast was that despite being besieged by three legendary hunters, the monster had never fallen behind. It even kept rolling across the ground, forcing even Gale Beasts
