I looked the girl up and down. She was about twenty, and her delicate features were nothing like what one would expect from a hunter of the Savage World. Her clothes, however, were clearly military gear from the Savage World—and of legendary grade at that. She no longer had a weapon on her, though.
The beast beneath her was an armored dragon-like creature. It looked adorably clumsy and was somewhat shorter than an ordinary Heroic Gale Beast. But judging by the thickness of its armor and the length of its claws, it was nothing like as harmless as it appeared. At the very least, being able to wear legendary armor meant for mount beasts was itself a sign of strength.
The crane raised its head high, and it immediately reached the top of the cliff. Without the distance of the crane's beak between us, the girl and I could practically have been face-to-face.
