"Lower Origin, is that you?" I recognized the voice. We had met once before, though the Lower Origin outside had been rather silent and not fond of speaking.
"Do you know me?" Lower Origin's voice held a hint of confusion. She soon appeared behind me, with Abandoning Mother following beside her. "Great Immortal, did Earth Pass perhaps urge you to do something?"
"It's nothing. Everyone, stop fighting—for my sake, at least." I spoke coldly. At that moment, Upper Origin also appeared in front of me. She rode a bizarre octopus whose countless tentacles hung like hair. This was precisely how it had attacked Earth Pass earlier.
Standing near Upper Origin was Karma Buddha, who fed silkworms with his own body.
"Heh heh. Abandoning Mother, Karma Buddha, Upper Origin, and Lower Origin have all come out. I wonder whether Middle Origin has arrived yet." Earth Pass glanced around.
"Earth Pass, it seems your popularity isn't very good. You're still wondering whether Middle Origin will come. If she comes, will you still have a life to keep?" Upper Origin sneered.
"Interesting." Earth Pass snorted coldly, then looked at me. "You can control the Six Paths' karmic fire. You wouldn't just watch me get surrounded and killed, would you?"
Abandoning Mother and the others had blocked off several areas, clearly intending to surround Earth Pass. I truly had no idea what Earth Pass had done in the past to make everyone refuse to let him off even after all these years.
"Don't worry, I won't. But you must agree to one condition. Once we get outside and you regain control of your Dao Foundation, you will obey my orders and help the Six Paths' divine consciousness reclaim its Dao Foundation." I spoke.
Yet the moment my words fell, Upper Origin began to cackle.
