As the Flood Dragon entered the sea, the Immortal Mountain drifted through the heavens like a floating cloud. Standing atop the mountain peak, one saw the world shrouded in dark yellow, while the surrounding murky mist blurred heaven and earth until nothing could be seen clearly beyond a hundred or so miles. It made every immortal on the mountain hold their breath, just like the lines: "Above, reaching the azure vault; below, descending to the Yellow Springs—vast and boundless, neither place could be seen. Then, suddenly, an Immortal Mountain was heard to be upon the sea, its mountain suspended amid the void and mist." The scene before us fit those words perfectly.
The Azure Vault above was filled with flying immortals, while the Yellow Springs Sea below teemed with ghosts. No one knew what lurked beneath the sea, but everyone could see ghost immortals flying through the sky from time to time. They were scouts of the counterfeit Three Passes, keeping close behind the Immortal Mountain as it flew. We had no idea how many of these scouts we had killed already. They were like flies that could never be driven away.
As we drew nearer and nearer to the mouth of the Yellow Springs, the scouts grew more numerous as well. I believed that a great battle could erupt at any moment.
The enormous Over-the-Shoulder Mountain Dragon moved leisurely through the sea like an aircraft carrier, stirring the waters of the Yellow Springs Sea into ripples. This kept the sea ghosts below from acting rashly. Of course, as we entered the enemy's defensive line, their probes followed one after another.
Just as we were discussing our countermeasures, the entire Immortal Mountain suddenly lurched to a halt. In the next instant, a dragon's roar shook heaven and earth!
Awooo, awoo,
