The Pill Dao stage was the process of transforming a crystal into a pill. Don't assume it merely involved smoothing out the crystal's edges and making it as seamless as a womb. In truth, this was an extremely complex process. Even a crystal formed from a single spiritual root would need the energies of other heavenly attributes mixed into it, thereby activating the crystal.
A crystal was not a completely living thing. It was merely the origin crystal formed after energy had undergone a certain degree of sedimentation. The Pill Dao was different. The most basic requirement for successfully forming a pill was to bring the crystal to life. In the terms of the world I came from, that meant granting it the power of life within the Twofold Cosmos.
Since it was life, it had to possess thought. Once the crystal reached a certain level and the Spirit Vein was connected throughout the Pill Dao cycle, one could slowly guard one's thoughts inwardly and nourish it, allowing the crystal pill one had refined to enter a state of suspended breath and fetal respiration. This was the process of gradually transferring one's thoughts into the crystal pill.
Thus, the form of the Pill Dao could be likened to the process of nurturing a fetus: the heavens and earth served as the father, one's own body as the mother, and the energy of heaven and earth was drawn into the crystal within one's body, nurturing fetal respiration and bringing a living pill into being.
Forming a pill with my six spiritual roots was no difficult task for me when it came to activation. After all, the power of heaven and earth was crucial to nurturing a fetus. The more compatible its attributes were with the Heavenly Dao, the simpler pill formation
