The flower basket itself was not particularly large, barely the size of a bathtub at most. Within the water I had released, which was filled with outward-spreading Spirit Veins, every one of her movements was actually within my grasp.
She slowly sat down behind me with her knees hugged to her chest, her voice practically ringing in my ear. "Brother Dong Ren, I'm ready... How should I replenish that Spirit Vein?"
I took out the jade scroll and quickly engraved the stable technique for controlling and replenishing the Spirit Veins into it. I had naturally developed this technique through reverse research. Its principle was terminal control: it would allow her to possess the power of the Spiritfire Goddess while also granting her control authority. As her cultivation gradually improved, she would slowly seize the initiative, until eventually the Spiritfire Goddess could no longer turn the tables.
"Cultivate this mental cultivation method to make up for the deficiencies in your Spirit Veins. Before that, though, I'll need to put a small Holy Water Beetle into your body to prevent any problems from suppressing the Spiritfire Goddess," I suggested.
The Holy Water Beetle naturally possessed no killing power, and it certainly could not use water blades or anything of the sort. It was merely something that would let Nan Jin's body identify an invading foreign substance, prompting it to go all out to destroy it. The final result would be its destruction, of course. Before the Holy Water Beetle was eliminated, however, Nan Jin should have already cultivated the patched Spirit Veins. It was equivalent to an insurance switch that could restrain the Spiritfire Goddess's outburst at a critical moment.
Thus, I quickly condensed the Holy Water Beetle. Watching it crawl back and forth across my five fingertips, I was extremely satisfied.
