Just then, it seemed as though someone had knocked on the rear crystal panel of the flying car, making an eerie sound. Rose Medic let out a startled cry and immediately threw herself at me. I turned my head toward the rear side, only to see a pale old face pressed against the glass, staring in at us. Its eyes were wide open, making it look exceptionally terrifying.
"Who is it?" I barked. The figure peering through the window vanished in an instant. I cautiously opened the door, while Rose Medic climbed over the central console and followed right behind me out of the driver's seat. Clearly, she was terrified.
"You're a Celestial at the Great Perfection of the Spirit Formation Realm. How did you get so scared?" I was utterly speechless.
Rose Medic clung to my arm in fright. "I was scared! It was so frightening... I told you just now that there was something here..."
