Just as I entered the gorge, I finally encountered a vicious monster that specifically hunted Magic Beasts in the Ascendant Realm.
It was an unbelievably ugly flying lizard. Its two fleshy wings were enormous, their membranes riddled with wounds and holes, while even the scales on its body bore numerous scratches.
Yet its coldly gleaming fangs told me that it was no loser. Those wounds
