I nodded in response, and Fairy Crimson River respectfully stepped aside. As she admired the scenery nearby, her gaze drifted over from time to time.
Solar Radiance naturally noticed it all. I could only shake my head inwardly and watch the scenery ahead gradually come into view, trying to ignore the attention of the two women.
Before long, a group of immortal vessels flew over from afar to meet us. Onboard were various gods and their proud disciples. Long before they were close enough to converse, they had already clasped their hands in greeting, their respect plain for all to see.
"Your Majesty, look. The various High Immortals have come to welcome you." Fairy Crimson River pointed toward the hundreds of immortal vessels ahead, her spirits greatly lifted.
"The people of your Sky Sword Domain are certainly meticulous in observing etiquette. You've made me feel completely at home," I replied indifferently.
"Of course. Even when all our Divine Lords came here together to pay homage, they never received treatment like this." Solar Radiance could not resist grumbling.
I naturally knew that everything she said, both overtly and covertly, was about how much attention I was receiving. However, I had no intention of exposing it. Once I picked up the thread, there would be no end to what followed, so it was better to simply tacitly accept it.
One after another, beings at the Divine Lord level came forward to pay their respects. Their voices seemed to descend from the heavens, and their presence was imposing.
I did not let myself be outdone either. After casually exchanging a few words, I suddenly took a sharp turn and asked, "All the immortals have arrived, yet I have not seen the Heavenly King of the Firmament. Might he be in this Sword Domain?"
