"Who... are... you?" I looked at the enormous dome. This place looked like a boundless palace, yet also like the sky itself.
For now, I still couldn't see my surroundings clearly enough, but I could be certain they were tangible matter!
And what exactly tangible matter was at its root, I could no longer deduce. Perhaps the particles composing this matter were themselves made up of countless miniature universes—it was not impossible.
If the size of the inner world could be used to judge the vastness of the outer vision, then it could simply be described as endless.
This world could be an ocean beneath the sky, a storm, or a dome with a definite shape. It could even be anything at all.
I attributed all of that to the problem of how outer vision was defined.
When you defined these things as walls, they became walls. If you defined them as an ocean beneath the sky, they became an ocean beneath the sky.
The Primordial Universe might be chaotic, or it might possess a definite form.
Perhaps what determined it all was nothing more than one's own perspective.
As for who the woman before me was, whether she was human, ghost, or immortal, that too could not be defined.
She was beautiful before me of her own accord. That meant she should be a beautiful existence in the eyes of any existence whatsoever!
In other words, the greatest forms were formless, and imagination could give rise to infinity!
"I am the guide, your guide," the woman answered slowly.
I sat up and discovered that I seemed to be lying on a platform—or perhaps lying in a patch of nothingness.
But to me, it could now be a radiant, multicolored stone platform holding my body.
"What's your name?" I sat
