"High God, no matter what, I refuse." Dizou made no attempt to conceal her feelings.

I smiled and said, "Why? If you give me your Ignorance, perhaps you could gain a better future—becoming the overlord of a universe, for instance, or even ascending to a more powerful universe."

Dizou furrowed her brows, then said, "Is High God joking? If the product I created were already enough to make High God covet it, wouldn't I have ascended to the Upper Realm already? Why exchange it for room to rise?"

I burst out laughing when I heard that, thinking, What a clever woman. So I said, "It seems you know yourself quite well. You haven't let this change your true nature. But what if I told you that this might actually be true?"

"I won't exchange it. If High God truly can't, then that must be my trump card. How could I give the strongest part of myself to someone else when I have no other special skill?" Dizou answered without hesitation.

I was even more delighted when I heard that. Of course, the test involved far more than one or two sentences. My expression instantly darkened as I said, "If you're unwilling to give me even your trump card, then die."

My harsh declaration left Dizou stunned. But she quickly assumed a fighting stance and gritted her teeth. "Senior, are you planning to bully someone weaker than you?"

"Since you know that, then make your choice!" I snorted.

Dizou merely knitted her brows before saying, "If we fought to the death, I naturally wouldn't be your opponent, High God. But I won't simply let you do whatever you wish with me!"

I thought that was the pride of someone high-spirited and arrogant. Clearly, I couldn't let her have everything her way.
