I pretended to think, then only after a moment said, "I've just arrived in this region as well, so I don't know much about it. There are quite a few things I'd like to ask about, and I'd especially like to travel with you for a stretch. I can ask for directions along the way."
"What exactly are you trying to do?" one of the fairies immediately said warily.
