The envoys exchanged glances. One of them said, "Including Chief Zi Ye, four overlords have arrived so far. Five are still on the way, so I'm afraid we'll have to wait a little longer."
"That's fine. Do you know what the topic of discussion is?" I asked again.
The lead envoy seemed to think I was being too impatient. He smiled and said, "Chief Zi Ye, please be patient. Naturally, the topic can only be brought up after everyone has gathered, so..."
"All right, I won't waste time chattering with you about other things. First, I have no interest in dividing up territory. Second, I don't want to dominate this place alone, much less join forces to rule the prodigies of the various races beneath the Washstone Ship. I came here for one thing only: who among you is willing to go up to the platform with me tonight and seize this Washstone Ship?"
I raised my voice several notches, but the power containing every element shook the space within a radius of ten li, drawing the attention of every prodigy!
"What Washstone Ship, Iron Ship, or whatever!? Is there any need to shout so loudly? You've disturbed this venerable one's rest!" an overlord lying in a gentle embrace berated me.
I followed the voice and looked over. The speaker stood nearly a zhang tall, with a head resembling an octopus and numerous tentacles extending from beneath his cloak. He looked like a mutant of the Illusory Space Clan.
"Heh, it seems you don't even understand what's happening up above. With your level of ability, you call yourself an overlord? And you came here to attend some alliance conference? Why not go back and keep mining!" I sneered mockingly.
