Rumble!
Just as we were digesting the new astral connection established through the Star Casket, a tremendous explosion suddenly rang out from deep within Fallen Star Valley!
Yun Heng and Tian Zi both frowned as they looked at me, clearly unsure what had happened.
I peered into the distance and saw a mushroom cloud billowing upward, accompanied by a tidal wave of air that swept over everything!
"Not good. It looks like the primary culprit of that mission blew up the depths of the star valley. He's either burning his boats or making his escape." As soon as I finished speaking, I spread out the stars within the Star Casket. The area they unfolded immediately formed a spatial magnetic field.
Under the powerful propulsive force of this magnetic field, my speed was almost the same as teleportation.
The Star Casket's connections were originally projections cast down by the stars, so even for the Great Cosmic Heaven—or Star Controllers of an even higher level—they were equivalent to arriving in an instant. Thus, spreading out a mobile domain through the Star Casket was also a form of star control.
Since the speed was nearly that of teleportation, the only factor determining how fast or slow it was was the distance of the stellar projection. With my current enormous number of stars, teleporting several dozen miles was no problem.
Thus, the next moment, I appeared around the mushroom cloud.
Yun Heng and Tian Zi also arrived at my side in quick succession, one before the other. Seeing this scene, it was easy to imagine how gloomy they felt.
"How did he just run away? This is his lair, isn't it?! How are we supposed to turn in this mission?" Yun Heng was frantic with worry.
Even Tian Zi was in a foul mood.
