But if you go farther in and enter the Main Peak area, where there are countless abodes, I won't be the only one who comes to stop you. I know you're a reasonable person. Even if you won't consider your own sake, could you please think of young Yu Ningsui?"
I rubbed my chin. "Fair point. You're worried I'll make too many enemies, and once I'm gone, they'll go after people connected to me?"
"Yes, exactly!" The female elder sighed in relief and hurriedly bowed. "Senior, I am Yue Huaining, Sixth Elder of Middle Peak Number 646 on the sixty-fourth great peak of the inner sect's outer reaches. If Yu Ningsui joins our great peak, I'll be her master. So please do me this favor, senior, and don't make things difficult for me."
"That sounds complicated. I suppose I can do you that favor for now. Tell me how things work here. Everywhere I look in your Dao Domain, there are peaks and abodes of every size, with the laws of worlds great and small beyond counting. It's quite an impressive sight." I glanced around.
Mountain ranges rose one behind another. The great peaks stretched hundreds of miles across, some over a thousand, and their towers and halls were lavish beyond measure. A closer look revealed structures such as the Purple Sky Hall and the Celestial Being Hall,
