He entered Soup-Head Mountain disguised as a new arrival, but his threat to the Old Freak made the two Star Overseers escorting him tense.

• A masked Great Origin Heaven warned Xia Ye and his companions away from his territory and directed them to Soup-Head Old Freak, describing the Old Freak’s treasures and his power to send people off the Spirit-Eating Throne.
• Xia Ye dismissed the rumor that the Old Freak was Child Spirit and planned for his companions to block escape routes while he attacked the Old Freak.

• The narrator followed two women through Souphead Mountain’s winding cavern to the Souphead Old Monster’s luxurious palace.
• The narrator spotted the fortune-laden treasures behind a screen and demanded that Souphead Old Monster hand over everything.

After the Child Spirit infected greedy Star Controllers and turned them against him, Mingchu kept guiding the beasts and left Old Monster Tangtou struggling to understand how he controlled them.

• Mingchu recognized that Old Monster Tangtou was likely the Child Spirit's puppet and signaled Yun Heng and the others to retreat as he attacked.
