Genjutsu was an effective way to counter speed-type ninja. Used properly, it could bring an enemy moving at high speed to an abrupt halt, creating an excellent opportunity to attack.

Of course, this depended on being able to make the enemy fall under the genjutsu in the first place.

The Mangekyo's ability activated the genjutsu through eye contact, and the timing was perfect—Might Guy was charging straight at him.

The two were extremely close. To launch his attack, Might Guy had to focus completely on Ye Zi. With the two of them positioned in a straight line, Ye Zi could use the Mangekyo's power to give Might Guy a very high chance of falling into the genjutsu.

Might Guy was naturally quite weak at resisting genjutsu, as he specialized in taijutsu. When facing an opponent skilled in genjutsu, he usually avoided it by averting his gaze.

The dust had originally concealed him, allowing him to charge forward without hesitation. But Ye Zi had promptly used
