The Door That Must Not Be Opened.
When White Zetsu woke up once again.
It found a small note on the door.
The note was crookedly stuck to it.
White Zetsu took down the note and looked at it.
There was a lot more writing on the back.
The words were much smaller, densely packed together.
It could only make out a few sentences.
"Don't open the door... They only want to eat us..."
"My face hurts so much, it really hurts. It feels like it's splitting apart..."
"Everyone else is gone. They must have been eaten..."
The writing on the note had started out neat.
But later, it had become wild scrawling.
The writer's condition seemed to have grown worse and worse, until finally... the writing had turned into crazed strokes and incomprehensible mutterings.
This seemed like the world of a madman with a mental illness.
It was nothing like anything an ordinary person could write.
"Female White Zetsu gets up every day to check the door."
"Her condition is getting worse and worse. What's going on?"
"White Zetsu didn't sleep today either. It just stood by the door, watching the outside."
"The door opened. White Zetsu went out."
"White Zetsu is acting stranger and stranger."
"There seems to be something wrong with this world."
"Someone is knocking on the door. Some people's faces are splitting open. There are monsters, and indescribable beings."
"When it gets dark, close your eyes. Don't open the door."
"Haha, I dug out my own eyes. It's much better now that I can't see."
"Digging out my eyes really was the right choice. I'm better now. Next, I'll pierce my eardrums. As long as I can't see or hear, fear won't exist."
White Zetsu frowned.
It could no longer understand the writing.
