Background

Obito was initially a young shinobi associated with Kakashi Hatake, Nohara Rin, and Hyuga Sho. After Hyuga Sho defeated him in their youth, Obito refused to remain down despite the humiliation. 10

During the Kannabi Bridge operation, Obito was believed dead after being crushed by rocks. His surviving Sharingan was transplanted into Kakashi, while Madara recovered Obito and replaced the destroyed half of his body with White Zetsu material. 301 309 Madara intended for him to become his representative and carry out his ambitions across the ninja world. 305 307

After nearly a year underground, Obito retained his desire to reunite with Rin and Kakashi despite his altered body. White Zetsu manipulated him with news of Rin’s capture, while Madara allowed him to leave, certain that Obito would eventually return. 312 Obito then witnessed the death of a false Rin and awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan in despair. Appearance

Obito’s appearance changed drastically after Madara’s treatment. Following his recovery, he grew shoulder-length hair, had one side of his face visibly flattened, and possessed a body half composed of White Zetsu creations. 312

His later actions were marked by possessiveness, calculation, and cruelty.
