Where the tides passed, the Heaven and Earth Laws, ordinarily hidden in the unseen, briefly revealed faint traces. Space rippled like water; the fringes of time came dimly into view; the foundational laws of the Five Elements interwove like threads; and the twin qi of yin and yang became black and white fish chasing each other, if only for an instant.
Yet that fleeting sight was more direct than any demonstration of Dao arts. In a heartbeat, many Cultivators gained a far clearer understanding of the Great Dao of heaven and earth.
Dimly, the phantom of a kirin seemed to tread upon Auspicious Clouds with a lingzhi mushroom in its mouth. Immortal cranes cried out and circled the furnace three times, scattering a clear radiance; a Mysterious Tortoise bore a book on its back, leaving the image of the Innate Eight Trigrams Diagram in the Void; dragons and phoenixes called together, weaving a vision of an age of peace and prosperity. None of these were actual Divine Beasts descending.
