Ch. 461Passing the Buck

Fang Chen refused to become Sect Master of the Glazed Sword Sect, so Yun Qianxue and Black Flame Dao Lord agreed to serve as Vice Sect Masters while the position remained vacant. After the Glazed Origin Realm opened, its cultivators learned of the sect’s history, and Fang Chen’s group toured the realm and discovered its powerful resources and talented people.

  • Fang Chen rejected the Sect Master position and proposed leaving it vacant until a suitable candidate appeared.
  • Fang Chen suggested Yun Qianxue and Black Flame Dao Lord become Vice Sect Masters, with Fang Chen making the final call on difficult matters.
  • Yun Qianxue summoned twenty Nirvana Realm figures from the Glazed Origin Realm, who celebrated its opening and mourned what the Glazed Sword Sect had endured.
  • Yun Qianxue showed Fang Chen and the others the Star Sword and Star River Cauldron, two Saint Weapons left by the Glazed Saint.
  • Fang Chen and the others learned that the Glazed Origin Realm’s cultivators had trained with complete cultivation arts and could greatly strengthen the Glazed Sword Sect.

Ch. 462The Eighth Transformation of the Glazed Golden Body

Yun Qianxue led Fang Chen and the others to Burial Sword Valley, where the Glazed Saint had left her complete sword inheritance behind a powerful Barrier. Fang Chen revealed his perfected eighth-level Glazed Golden Body Art, but the Barrier’s secrets remained beyond their sight.

  • Yun Qianxue told Fang Chen that the complete Glazed Sword Art lay in the Glazed Saint’s secluded retreat and led him and the others there.
  • Yun Qianxue explained that Burial Sword Valley held caves carved with cultivation arts and swords embedded in the opposite cliff.
  • Fang Chen and the others reached a Saint Realm Barrier that Yun Qianxue said guarded the complete Glazed Sword Art and other arts created by the Glazed Saint.
  • Fang Chen activated the Glazed Golden Body Art, displaying silver Glazed Battle Runes and startling Yun Qianxue and the elders with his perfected eighth transformation.

Ch. 463Burial Sword Valley

Fang Chen entered the Glazed Saint’s sealed cultivation grounds after his perfected Glazed Golden Body Art caused the Barriers to open. He and the Myna bird descended toward the Glazed Origin Realm’s core, where Saint Force grew denser and Saint Crystals lined the passage.

  • Fang Chen’s aura opened the first Barrier, and Yun Qianxue explained that it likely mistook him for their ancestor because he had perfected the Glazed Golden Body Art.
  • Fang Chen entered the sealed grounds with the Myna bird while Yun Qianxue and the elders waited outside.
  • Fang Chen discovered dense Saint Force and Saint Crystals inside, and the Myna bird identified the crystals and described their great value.
  • Fang Chen used the Reincarnation Eye Secret Technique to see through the mist and followed a passage until another Barrier opened before him.
  • Fang Chen absorbed Saint Force as he descended, while the Myna bird said they were approaching the Glazed Origin Realm’s core.

Ch. 464Saint Tablet

Fang Chen reached the Origin of the Glazed Origin Realm and awakened the Glazed Saint’s Inheritance Saint Tablet. The Glazed Saint’s remnant soul revealed that he had fallen while challenging the Emperor’s Path, then was shocked that Fang Chen had entered despite meeting neither of the conditions he had set.

  • Fang Chen and Myna bird reached the Origin of the Glazed Origin Realm and found seven tablets bearing the Glazed Saint’s arts.
  • Fang Chen touched the Glazed Golden Sword Art tablet, and his soul was drawn inside to meet the Glazed Saint’s remnant soul.
  • Fang Chen told the remnant soul that more than ten thousand years had passed since the Glazed Saint’s fall.
  • The Glazed Saint’s remnant soul said his true self had fallen after failing to challenge the Emperor’s Path.
  • Fang Chen revealed he was a One Tribulation Saint and not the Glazed Saint’s descendant, leaving the remnant soul astonished that he had bypassed the Seal.

Ch. 465Glazed Heaven and Earth

Fang Chen learned that his mastery of the Glazed Golden Body Art might mean he was descended from the Glazed Saint, whose remnant soul then dissipated and passed on the complete Glazed Sword Art. He found the Glazed Heaven and Earth Secret Art among the Saint Tablets and planned to bring the inheritances back to the Glazed Sword Sect.

  • The Glazed Saint's remnant soul questioned Fang Chen about how he entered the Barrier, and Fang Chen revealed he had cultivated the Glazed Golden Body Art to Great Perfection.
  • Fang Chen wondered whether he was descended from the Glazed Saint through a child born outside his marriage, and the Glazed Saint told him to ask his descendants to verify it.
  • The Glazed Saint explained that his awakened remnant soul was about to dissipate and asked Fang Chen to lead the Glazed Sword Sect to greatness.
  • The Glazed Saint's remnant soul vanished and merged its remaining information into Fang Chen, passing him the complete Glazed Sword Art.
  • Fang Chen examined the Saint Tablets, discovered the space-restraint Glazed Heaven and Earth Secret Art, and decided to take the tablets out for the Glazed Sword Sect's disciples to study.

Ch. 466Stepping onto the Right Track

Fang Chen recovered the Glazed Peak’s seven Saint Tablets and helped reform the Glazed Sword Sect, putting its development on track. He then decided to test the Void Shattering Bead before going to the South Sea to improve his Glazed Heaven and Earth Secret Art through combat.

  • Fang Chen told Yun Qianxue and the elders that he had met Ancestor Glazed’s remnant soul, who said the Forbidden Grounds had been created to protect the Glazed Origin Realm.
  • Fang Chen released the seven Saint Tablets, and he and Yun Qianxue decided which four would go outside the Glazed Origin Realm and which three would remain within it.
  • Fang Chen and the others established cultivation Sacred Grounds with the three tablets inside the Glazed Origin Realm, then sealed the other four on the Glazed Peak.
  • The Glazed Sword Sect announced the recovered inheritance and opened the Glazed Origin Realm, drawing excitement from disciples eager to join the Glazed Peak.
  • Fang Chen, Yun Qianxue, and the elders introduced fairer sect rules and strict Glazed Peak recruitment criteria, setting the sect’s development on track.
  • Fang Chen struggled to master the Glazed Heaven and Earth Secret Art, decided to seek combat in the South Sea, and planned to test the Void Shattering Bead first.

Ch. 467The Power of the Void Shattering Bead

Fang Chen tested whether his Void Shattering Bead could break the Heaven Stabilizing Talisman's spatial Restraint and was transported to the drought-stricken Great Yu Dynasty. After learning that people there had endured two years without rain, he asked Myna bird to teach him a rain-making spell.

  • Fang Chen activated the Heaven Stabilizing Talisman over a hundred-zhang area while Myna bird stayed beside him.
  • Fang Chen detonated a Void Shattering Bead with his soul, shattered the restrained space, and was swept through Chaos Space with Myna bird.
  • Fang Chen escaped Chaos Space with the Floating Immortal Sword and emerged above a field.
  • Myna bird discovered that they were in the Great Yu Dynasty, where a two-year drought had dried the wells and rivers.
  • Fang Chen asked Myna bird to teach him a spell to bring rain to the drought-stricken dynasty.

Ch. 468Red Saint Dragon

Fang Chen used the myna bird to end the drought across the Great Yu Dynasty, then traveled into the South Sea to seek powerful opponents. There he found and rescued a Red Saint Dragon struck by a Demon Arrow, and it asked how he had purged the Demonic Qi from its body.

  • The myna bird summoned rain across the Great Yu Dynasty, easing the drought.
  • Fang Chen and the myna bird traveled south and, three days later, reached the South Sea to search for powerful Sacred Beasts.
  • Ten days later, they found a lifeless stretch of sea covered in Sea Monster corpses and discovered a Red Saint Dragon pierced by a black arrow.
  • Fang Chen pulled out the arrow, devoured its Demonic Qi and spiritual imprint, and put it into the Heaven Refining Furnace.
  • Fang Chen devoured the Demonic Qi from the Red Saint Dragon until it woke and expelled the remaining traces.
  • The Red Saint Dragon realized Fang Chen had purged even the Demonic Qi from its soul and asked how he had done it.

Ch. 469Friends of the Glazed Saint

Fang Chen learned that the Devil Race had raided the South Sea Dragon Clan to seize pieces of a sealed Heavenly Demon Remnant. After rescuing Ao Hongxia, he joined her journey to Forbidden Zone No. 3, where the Devil Race was attacking the dragons.

  • Fang Chen told Ao Hongxia that he had devoured the Demonic Qi and power inside her, and she transformed into human form and introduced herself.
  • Ao Hongxia recognized Fang Chen’s connection to the Glazed Saint through a bamboo flute he had given her and explained that the Devil Race had stolen one piece of the Heavenly Demon Remnant after a traitor helped them.
  • Ao Hongxia discovered that the Devil Race was attacking Forbidden Zone No. 3 to seize the Heavenly Demon’s right arm, and Fang Chen offered to help her fight them.
  • Ao Hongxia carried Fang Chen to the battlefield, where he saw Devil Race warships attacking the South Sea Dragon Clan and recognized Ao Kong and Ao Xu among the dragons.

Ch. 470Battlefield of Saints

Fang Chen joined the South Sea Dragon Clan's battle against the Devil Race and learned that a hidden archer was badly wounding its Saints. After deciding he was too weak to face the Seven-Tribulation Saint archer, he prepared to fight other Devil Race Saints and asked Ao Hongxia to keep her people from attacking him.

  • Ao Kong and Ao Xu fought while injured, and Gui Xu struck a Devil Race warship before a hidden archer pierced his neck with a Demon Arrow.
  • Ao Hongxia charged into battle and destroyed the damaged warship with her Fire Origin.
  • Fang Chen observed that the South Sea Dragon Clan was losing ground because of the hidden archer, but Ao Hongxia said she did not know his identity and that he was a Seven-Tribulation Saint.
  • Fang Chen decided to fight the Devil Race Saints instead of pursuing the archer and asked Ao Hongxia to tell her people not to attack him.

Ch. 471Joining the Battle

Fang Chen joined the South Sea Dragon Clan’s battle against the Devil Race, but discovered that his strength could not overcome even their weaker Saints. He turned to attacking a Devil Race warship to cultivate with the Floating Immortal Sword, but the barrier’s recoil severely injured him and hurled him into the sea.

  • Fang Chen ambushed Mo Feng with his Twelve Flying Swords, but Mo Feng’s Battle Armor repelled them and the Black Dragon Ao Guang struck Mo Feng while his attack faltered.
  • Ao Hongxia told Ao Guang that Fang Chen was her friend and the Glazed Sword Sect’s disciple and successor to Senior Glazed.
  • Fang Chen recognized that his recent advancement to Saint left him outmatched by experienced Devil Race fighters and searched the battlefield for a suitable target.
  • Fang Chen attacked a Devil Race warship’s Protective Barrier with the Floating Immortal Sword, but the barrier held and its recoil badly injured him before throwing him into the sea.

Ch. 472Where Did This Idiot Come From?

Fang Chen repeatedly attacked the Devil Race Battleship’s defensive Barrier, surviving its deadly shockwaves as the Floating Immortal Sword healed and strengthened him. The Devil Race experts grew irritated and urged Mo You to shoot him.

  • Ao Hongxia and the Devil Race experts watched in disbelief as Fang Chen struck the Battleship’s Barrier and was hurled into the sea.
  • The Floating Immortal Sword healed Fang Chen, and he emerged to attack again, briefly cracking the Barrier before its shockwaves injured him once more.
  • The sword restored Fang Chen again, and he repeatedly surged from the sea to strike the Barrier as his strength steadily grew.
  • The Devil Race experts, unable to understand Fang Chen’s attacks, telepathically urged Mo You to kill him with an arrow.

Ch. 473Bound Together

Mo You shot Fang Chen with a poisoned Demon Arrow, but Fang Chen absorbed its poison and bound it to the Floating Immortal Sword, gaining power instead of dying. He emerged from the sea stronger, stunning Ao Hongxia and the Dragon Race.

  • Mo You fired a poisoned Demon Arrow at Fang Chen after Fang Chen struck the Devil Race warship’s Barrier, and the arrow pierced his chest.
  • Fang Chen survived the poison with the Floating Immortal Sword’s help, pulled out the arrow, and devoured the demonic poison entering his body.
  • Fang Chen bound the arrow to the Floating Immortal Sword, accelerating the sword’s vibrations and drawing a surge of Spiritual Power into him.
  • Mo You found that he could no longer summon the arrow back and realized he had lost control of it.
  • Fang Chen burst from the sea with a stronger aura, leaving Ao Hongxia stunned.

Ch. 474Taking a Shit on a Saint

Fang Chen discovered that the Floating Immortal Sword could absorb the energy from the shockwaves of the Dragon Turtle’s battle and restore him, drawing the Devil Race’s attention to the sword. As a Devil Race Saint bound Fang Chen and tried to seize it, a Black Myna Bird appeared and defecated on him.

  • Fang Chen rushed toward the Dragon Turtle to remove the Demon Arrows lodged in its body, but a Sword Ray’s shockwave shattered his body and sent him into the sea.
  • The Floating Immortal Sword absorbed energy from the impact and restored Fang Chen, who realized it could feed him power from external energy.
  • Fang Chen returned to the battlefield alive, astonishing the Devil Race experts, who suspected the sword was a healing treasure.
  • Two Devil Race experts attacked Fang Chen, and one used a black chain to bind him and drag him away with the Floating Immortal Sword.
  • A Black Myna Bird appeared and covered the Devil Race Saint with its droppings.

Ch. 475Stripping Skin to Survive

Fang Chen escaped the Devil Race experts’ attack with Myna bird’s help, then asked the Dragon Turtle to separate from his opponent so he could remove the poisoned Demon Arrows. The Dragon Turtle agreed and struck his opponent with blue light.

  • Myna bird coated Demonic Power Sea in corrosive droppings, forcing him to tear off his own skin to escape them.
  • Fang Chen broke free of the Black Chains and headed toward the Dragon Turtle to evade the Devil Race experts.
  • Fang Chen asked the Dragon Turtle to create distance from his opponent so he could remove the Demon Arrows weakening him with Demonic Poison.
  • The Dragon Turtle agreed after Fang Chen said he had cured Ao Hongxia of Demonic Poison, then attacked his opponent with blue light.

Ch. 476Pulling Out the Arrows

Fang Chen helped Dragon Turtle recover by pulling the Demon Arrows from his body while the South Sea Dragon Clan Saints held off the Devil Race. The battle continued as Mo You struck Fang Chen, who seized the arrow and bound it to his Floating Immortal Sword, leaving him with four Demon Arrows to strengthen his treasures.

  • Dragon Turtle froze his Devil Race opponent with Ice Origin Heaven Freezing Earth, giving Fang Chen an opening to reach him.
  • Fang Chen enlarged his body with the Glazed Golden Body Art and pulled a Demon Arrow from Dragon Turtle, who urged him to keep going.
  • Mo You ordered the Devil Race experts to attack Fang Chen, but Ao Hongxia and the South Sea Dragon Clan Saints held them back.
  • Mo You shot at Fang Chen, and the Demon Arrow struck his shoulder after Fang Chen deflected it with the Floating Immortal Sword.
  • Fang Chen pulled the arrow from his shoulder and bound it and Dragon Turtle’s arrow to the Floating Immortal Sword, bringing his total to four Demon Arrows.

Ch. 477Super Fortress

Fang Chen freed the Dragon Turtle from the Demon Arrows and took shelter inside it, where he began absorbing the Demonic Poison and Demonic Qi. The Devil Race pressed its attack, but the Dragon Turtle recovered enough to resist while the South Sea Dragon Clan hoped to hold out for reinforcements.

  • Fang Chen taunted Mo You, who held back from shooting again after realizing his remaining arrows would be wasted.
  • Fang Chen removed the last seven Demon Arrows from the Dragon Turtle, restoring much of its strength as the Devil Race's supreme expert broke free.
  • The supreme expert ordered the Devil Race Saints to kill Fang Chen, but Fang Chen asked the Dragon Turtle to swallow him so he could help purge its Demonic Poison.
  • The Dragon Turtle drew Fang Chen and the Myna bird inside its body, leaving the Devil Race unable to reach them and lifting the South Sea Dragon Clan's morale.
  • Fang Chen tied the Demon Arrows to the Floating Immortal Sword, embedded it in the Dragon Turtle, and began devouring and refining the energy within it.

Ch. 478Reinforcements Arrive

Fang Chen refined energy from the Floating Immortal Sword while studying the Space Dao Patterns inside the Dragon Turtle. East Sea reinforcements drove off the Devil Race, and Fang Chen emerged to meet Ao Xuan.

  • Fang Chen used the Floating Immortal Sword's energy to sharpen his perception of the Space Dao Patterns and discovered a pattern among their fluctuations.
  • Dozens of East Sea Dragon Clan warships and Saint Dragons arrived, forcing the Devil Race to retreat after destroying nine of its warships.
  • Ao Xuan greeted the Dragon Turtle, who told Fang Chen the battle was over and safe to leave.
  • Fang Chen stored the Demon Arrows in the Heaven Refining Furnace and asked the Dragon Turtle to let him out.
  • The Dragon Turtle introduced Fang Chen to Ao Xuan as the Dragon Clan members took human form.

Ch. 479The Devil Race's Quasi-Emperor

Fang Chen joined the Dragon Turtle and Ao Xuan at the South Sea Dragon Palace after helping defend the South Sea Dragon Clan from the Devil Race. There, the Dragon Turtle and Ao Xuan concluded that a Devil Race cultivator had reached the Quasi-Saint realm and wanted to absorb the Emperor’s Original Power in the celestial devil’s corpse.

  • Ao Xuan recognized Fang Chen as the Glazed Saint’s successor and joined the Dragon Turtle in praising his help during the battle.
  • The Dragon Turtle invited Fang Chen to the South Sea Dragon Palace so he could help clear the Demonic Poison from his body with the Floating Immortal Sword.
  • The Dragon Turtle left Saints behind to secure the battlefield and Forbidden Grounds, then led Fang Chen, Ao Xuan, and the East Sea Saints to the palace.
  • Ao Xuan told the Dragon Turtle that Devil Race forces had ambushed the East Sea reinforcements, delaying more than half of the nearly hundred Saints who had set out.
  • The Dragon Turtle reasoned that the Devil Race wanted the celestial devil’s corpse to absorb its Emperor’s Original Power, and Ao Xuan inferred that a Devil Race cultivator had reached the Quasi-Saint realm.

Ch. 480The Wounded Saint Dragon

Fang Chen learned why the Devil Race was targeting the Heavenly Demon's sealed remains and agreed to treat wounded Dragon Race experts. As the injured gathered before him, an Azure Dragon from the East Sea stepped forward with a poisoned chest wound.

  • Fang Chen and Ao Xuan discussed the Quasi-Emperor Realm and the Devil Race's attempt to obtain the Heavenly Demon's remains.
  • The Dragon Turtle explained that the Heavenly Demon's body had been divided and sealed among the four Dragon Clans, and that the Devil Race had stolen the right foot from Forbidden Zone No. 2.
  • The Dragon Turtle asked Fang Chen to remove Demonic Qi and Demonic Poison from the wounded Dragon Race experts, and Fang Chen agreed.
  • Fang Chen told the wounded experts to line up and chose not to use the Floating Immortal Sword while treating them.
  • An Azure Dragon from the East Sea came forward with a deep chest wound where a Devil Race spear had spread Demonic Poison through his body.
