Ye Kong and Ye Qingci advanced to the Fourth Turn of the Xuanhuang Sacred Body while receiving the Xuanhuang Great Emperor’s inheritance in Xuanhuang Ancient City. Ye Chen attacked them, but Fang Chen drove him back before Ye Chen trapped Fang Chen and fled.

• Ye Kong and Ye Qingci absorbed the Xuanhuang Pagoda’s divine light and reached the Fourth Turn of the Xuanhuang Sacred Body.
• Ye Mian realized the siblings were receiving the Xuanhuang Great Emperor’s inheritance and warned Ye Chen through a Communication Talisman.
• Ye Chen rushed into Xuanhuang Ancient City with the Xuanhuang Banner and attacked Ye Kong and Ye Qingci.

• Ye Kong felt the seal calling to him, approached it, and touched it, causing his bloodline and the mysterious Runes on his skin to resonate with its power.
• The seal drew Ye Kong's consciousness into a mysterious space, where he followed a path of Xuanhuang Qi and found an old man watching the stars.
• Ye Kong recognized the old man as Elder Zhu, his childhood neighbor and teacher, whom he had believed dead.
• Elder Zhu confirmed that he was the Xuanhuang Great Emperor, then said that what Ye Kong saw was merely a shell he had shed long ago.

The Xuanhuang Great Emperor revealed how his Metamorphosis extended his life and explained his role in protecting Ye Qingci and Ye Kong. He warned Ye Kong that the Great Calamity was still ahead and tied its source to the Sacred Land, while his Remnant Soul neared its end.

• The Xuanhuang Great Emperor told Ye Kong that each Metamorphosis had granted him ten thousand years of life and that his shell had awakened several hundred years earlier.
• The Xuanhuang Great Emperor explained that Ye Qingci’s birth had caused a heavenly Manifestation and that he had failed to stop the mysterious power from injuring her.
• The Xuanhuang Great Emperor revealed the protective Mark he had placed on Ye Kong, removed it, and told him to kill Ye Mian and the other Ye Family Members before leaving the family behind.
• The Xuanhuang Great Emperor warned Ye Kong that the Great Calamity had not yet arrived and urged him to grow stronger.

Ye Kong received the Xuanhuang Great Emperor’s weapon-control incantations and claimed the Xuanhuang Seal and Xuanhuang Banner. After he sealed the Xuanhuang Pagoda, he struck Ye Mian, leaving the Ye Family stunned.

• The Xuanhuang Great Emperor told Ye Kong to keep the Xuanhuang Seal and seek him in the Sacred Land if Ye Kong became a Great Emperor, then vanished.
• The collapsing space returned Ye Kong to the pagoda and passed him incantations for controlling the Xuanhuang treasures, which he could use after reaching the Ninth-Turn Realm.

• The Old Farmer, Heaven Mending Goddess, Chaos Giant, and Sun Chasing Giant ate from the Black Cauldron, while the Sun Shooting Man shot down a Giant Bird for the meal.
• Fang Chen asked his Manifestations to join them, but the Old Farmer knocked away his chopsticks and ignored the ingredients he offered.
