Battle Against Sand (Part 2)

"Not good!"

Although he had no idea what ninjutsu his opponent was preparing to use, Chojuro still keenly sensed a trace of danger.

"Huh?"

Just as he prepared to take another step and rush out of the area covered by the sand rain, a powerful binding force surged from his feet, firmly pinning them to the ground. He could not lift them at all.

Looking down, he saw that the ground within a radius of several meters was covered in yellow sand. Some of the sand had even transformed into ropes, binding his feet to the ground.

Gaara said coldly, "I've already used my sand to crush the rocks and soil beneath the entire training ground, turning them into new sand under my control."

"The entire training ground has become a quicksand hell under my personal control. From the very beginning, your defeat was already destined!"

Chojuro's expression turned somewhat grim when he heard this.

He had been far too careless. If he had not gotten carried away at the beginning and "yielded" to his opponent, giving him time to prepare, he would never have ended up in this situation.

In the contestants' stands, Yuri let out a helpless sigh.

"Is Chojuro going to lose already?"

Suigetsu looked toward the training ground. "He should be able to hold on for a while longer, right? He hasn't used his full strength yet!"

Aside from the holders of the ninja swords, he was the one who knew the most about the seven ninja swords.

Chojuro had not yet gone all out.

If he lost like this, Kirigakure would lose a great deal of face.

Meanwhile, as the sand rain fell faster, heavier, and thicker, yet Chojuro still could not break free of the restraints around his feet, he began to grow anxious.
