Black Zetsu narrowed his eyes. "You'd better think this through!"
"If you don't repay me for saving your life, I'll be very angry!"
"Perhaps the rest of your life will be shrouded in my shadow!"
"Are you threatening me?" Raiga infused the Dual Blades in his hands with chakra, and blue arcs of electricity burst from the blades once more.
Other than his somewhat unusual immortal body, Raiga did not take Black Zetsu seriously at all.
Looking across the entire Akatsuki, the weakest were Black Zetsu and White Zetsu.
White Zetsu was made up of countless clones that formed an army, and he was also responsible for the organization's communications. It was barely understandable that he occupied a core position. But as for Black Zetsu, Raiga could not see what qualified him to stand alongside the others.
Just then, that weak voice came from behind Raiga again.
"Forget it. You should agree to his terms!"
"Why, Ranmaru?" Raiga asked, turning toward the voice behind him.
A young boy was concealed beneath the cloak on his back. He was Raiga's companion, the two of them dependent on each other for survival.
It had been Ranmaru who had ordered him to calm down earlier.
Once again, that feeble voice came from beneath Raiga's cloak.
"My eyes can see endless evil hidden within him. He's an extremely terrifying person! You'd better not make an enemy of him, Raiga!"
"You say he's terrifying?" Raiga examined Black Zetsu from head to toe again, utterly puzzled.
No matter how he looked at him, he could not see what was terrifying about Black Zetsu.
"That's right. My eyes can tell that he's an extraordinarily terrifying person!" Ranmaru reaffirmed.
After hesitating for a long while, Kurotsuchi Raiga put away his Dual Blades.
He chose to trust Ranmaru's judgment.
