• Mei transformed herself into a vast Mist Dragon using Corrosion Release and swept through the Kaki Clan’s ranks, turning everything the mist touched to ash.
• Obito escaped the Mist Dragon by entering his Pocket Dimension, while Mei continued her attack on the Kaki Clan’s main forces.

After the battle, Qi Shuang brought the injured Mei Terumi back to the Terumi Clan’s base, where a medical ninja found her meridians badly damaged and could not cure her. Mei Terumi felt some relief from the treatment, but Qi Shuang cleared the room so the medical ninja could explain what was wrong.

• Mei Terumi showed the medical ninja her Corrosion Release, and he confirmed that its power had been eroding her meridians and disrupting his healing.

After capturing Hozuki Masamune and Kaki Keiichi, Qi Shuang asked Hozuki Mangetsu to help purge the Hidden Mist’s old guard without Mei’s knowledge.

• White Coat warned Qi Shuang and Mei Terumi that Corrosion Release would keep worsening Mei’s injuries and that no known medical ninjutsu could counter it.
• Qi Shuang reasoned that Mei’s body might eventually adapt, and promised to prepare another treatment while advising her to avoid fighting and using Corrosion Release.
