"Lord Lando! The treasure I selected is this Tier 4 Psionic Weapon, the 'Sky-Breaking Shuttle'!" A beautiful, slender girl with strange green patterns on her face stepped before the white-robed elder and spoke respectfully.

The girl had waist-length golden hair and resolute eyes, yet before the white-robed elder, she barely even dared to breathe.

Before coming to Aurora Tower to select treasures, their leading instructor—a powerful Domain Lord level existence of lofty status in the universe—had repeatedly reminded them that the seemingly amiable white-robed elder before them, Lord Lando, was actually an Immortal God who had lived for endless years and was famous throughout the Ganwu Universe Country!

Tayana looked up at him and seemed to see mountains of corpses piled high as a boundless Blood Sea surged toward her.

"Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Endless, terrifying killing intent radiated from the sinister young man, nearly causing her entire being to fall into a bloody hell from which she could never escape.

"I can't move..." Tayana felt even her thoughts slowing, as if they were about to be frozen forever.

"Lando, long time no see!" A voice that made even her soul tremble sounded beside her ears, instantly jolting Tayana awake.

"What a terrifying existence!" Tayana came back to her senses and lowered her head in horror, no longer daring to look at the blood-haired young man.

Yet as she swept her peripheral vision across the first floor of Aurora Tower, she discovered that the other geniuses had almost exactly the same reaction as her.

"This is still within the Virtual Universe. If it were in the outside world, just how terrifying would this lord be? With strength like ours, we would probably lose all reason from just one glance at him and become walking corpses that knew only slaughter!" Tayana thought with lingering fear.

Then she heard Lord Lando's gentle greeting, carrying a trace of ingratiation. "His Highness Lian Luo, it is truly wonderful to see you again!"

That voice which made Tayana's soul tremble sounded once more. "Haha... Seeing you again, Lando, makes me feel quite nostalgic as well. This Ganwu Secret Realm still looks the way I remember it!"

"Lando, I'm going to the fifth floor to pick out a few things. My teacher should have informed you, right?"

Lando said humbly, "His Highness Lian Luo, I have already received the Universe Master's order. There is no one on the fifth floor right now, so you may go up whenever you wish!"

"Good. We'll talk again when there's time later."

The footsteps faded into the distance, gradually becoming inaudible.

Their being allowed to enter Aurora Tower and select treasures today, as well as meet the Immortal God Lord Lando, had been deliberately arranged by the higher-ups of the Ganwu Secret Realm. It was meant to let them witness the true powerhouses of the vast universe and ignite their fighting spirit.

The group of Planetary Level geniuses soon saw the Domain Lord instructor waiting for them in the square before Aurora Tower. She was a beautiful mature woman with alluring short hair and a fluffy tail extending from beneath her skirt. She was from the rather well-known Hissing Wind Foxfolk race of the Human race.

"Hehe... Why do all of you look like this..." Seeing the stunned expressions of the geniuses, the foxfolk woman could not help feeling a trace of satisfaction.

Every one of these Star level youths was a genius within their family and an outstanding talent among their peers. Outside, even universe level beings stronger than them had to indulge and accommodate them. Naturally, this had nurtured pride within them.

But the higher-ups of the Ganwu Secret Realm did not want them to become overly arrogant.

Sending them to Aurora Tower to choose treasures and meet the Immortal God Lord Lando was meant to make them understand that there was always someone stronger, and a higher sky beyond the sky.

They were still weak and had to remain humble at all times.
