Madame Web and Raven learned that the gods intended to destroy the world through global warming and a solar storm, and the storm’s first waves crippled communications and harmed life across Earth. Amanda struggled to coordinate the response as Cyborg returned injured after encountering the high-energy particle stream.

• Madame Web moved her parlor and Raven to Iceland to escape a missile strike, then warned Raven that global warming had accelerated unnaturally.
• Anthea returned from Asgard with the Oracle and revealed that the gods planned to melt the polar glaciers and unleash a solar storm against humanity.
• The solar storm’s electromagnetic radiation struck Earth, destroying satellites, disrupting communications, and causing illness and mass animal deaths.
• A high-energy particle stream further damaged radio communications and left people around the world isolated.

Dane sealed Ares and killed Aphrodite, clearing the way for humanity to prepare for the gods’ invasion. On the fourth day, the Solar Storm struck as Zeus and the other gods appeared, and Poseidon’s Water Gods unleashed towering waves toward the continents.

• Dane trapped Ares’s soul in the Wizard Staff, then watched Orm lure Aphrodite into revealing herself so he could kill and seal her.

• Lucifer told Dane that the primordial God died after creating the world, that the gods were born from it, and that Godwave arose when the first world was destroyed.

Dane took control of the dormant Celestial Tiamut beneath Unnamed Island, gaining access to its memories and some of his true body’s power. He ordered Umbrella to build a spatial gate on the renamed Tiamut Island and prepared to seek out Phastos while bringing the remaining Eternals under his command.

• Dane brought Ajak to Unnamed Island and descended through a deep borehole to find Tiamut beneath the seabed.
• Dane connected the Mind Scepter to Tiamut, endured its flood of planetary memories, and used power drawn from his true body to take control of the Celestial.
• Tiamut’s awakening caused a massive earthquake and volcanic eruption that nearly damaged Umbrella’s base.
