Through Hope's explanation, Scott finally understood his current situation. The last time he entered the Quantum Realm, he had nearly become trapped there forever. In the end, however, he had awakened because he missed his daughter so much and pressed the enlarge button.

He had initially thought that was the power of love, but clearly, Scott had been overthinking it.

According to Hope, while Scott was in the Quantum Realm, he had become quantumly entangled with another person, causing information from two different people and different spaces to intersect in a bizarre way.

By coincidence, the person entangled with Scott was Hope's mother, Janet—the first person in this universe, this space, and this timeline to enter the Quantum Realm.

No one knew why Hope's mother was still alive in the Quantum Realm after several decades, or how the entanglement had formed. In any case, this was the first time Hope and her father had received any news about Janet.

Whether for research or because of their familial bond, Hank Pym and Hope were desperate to see or contact Janet, who was deep within the Quantum Realm.

Scott's knowledge of quantum research was ultimately inferior to Hank Pym's and Hope's. After listening to Hope's explanation, he could only nod with an understanding that was neither here nor there.

At this point, he was roughly equivalent to a receiver—or perhaps a coordinate. Janet, who was in the Quantum Realm, had used him to receive some information and locate the coordinates of the real world.

As for how Janet had managed to do that in the Quantum Realm, it didn't matter. She had done it.
