The Insect God seemed to have a will of its own. It dragged the warship with its arthropods and rammed it toward Klendasu Planet. At such a distance, even a spaceship couldn't escape its control. As luck would have it, the first wave of the Insect God's attacks destroyed the warp device.

On the ground, Rui Ge and the other six had just begun slaughtering their way through the insects when their communication system picked up the screams of their comrades in the warship's communications room.

All kinds of voices filled their ears. Even Rui Ge and the others, who were frantically cutting down insects as they approached the Grand Marshal, exchanged glances. It seemed their retreat route was gone.
