Chapters 551–575 Vol. 6 Read

Ch. 551In the Pacific Rim World, Activating the Transformers

As a Category IV Kaiju invaded Alaska and was redirected toward Russia, Umbrella Corporation offered Russia a chance to test its combat mech instead of launching a nuclear strike. Chen Changsheng modified and activated heavy transport helicopter Transformers to carry the massive mech, leaving its deployment possible.

  • People pinned their hopes on Umbrella Corporation's towering combat mech despite not knowing whether it could fight Kaiju.
  • A Category IV Kaiju landed in Alaska, and American officials maneuvered it toward Russian territory.
  • Emperor Putin prepared a nuclear strike but stopped after receiving an email from Umbrella Corporation and chose to give its mech a chance.
  • Chen Changsheng modified heavy transport helicopters and activated them with Spark Coins, increasing their carrying capacity to two hundred tons each.

Ch. 552The First Complete Kaiju Sample at the Start

Chen Changsheng’s mech killed a Class-1 Kaiju, giving humanity its first complete Kaiju corpse and revealing the creatures’ unusual biology and environmental dangers. The mech and corpse were taken for international research, while countries launched competing mech programs and Chen identified weaknesses in the prototype.

  • Chen Changsheng used five transport helicopter Transformers and Red Queen to pilot his crude mech, which killed the monster at the cost of nearly being destroyed.
  • Chen Changsheng examined the Kaiju samples and discovered that Kaiju were silicon-based, poisonous amphibious creatures whose bodies and blood polluted the environment even after death.
  • Countries pressured Russia to share the complete Kaiju corpse, and the mech became an international research resource despite Umbrella Corporation having built it.
  • Countries established national mech teams alongside the United Nations' International Mech Union, while Chen Changsheng welcomed the competition between different approaches.
  • Chen Changsheng recognized that larger mechs reacted more slowly and delivered more powerful attacks, leaving them vulnerable without precise bodily control.

Ch. 553Scrappy Yukon
