Chen Changsheng survived Hope Town’s outbreak, built Umbrella Corporation, and used a mysterious Doorway to reach the Marvel world. There, he expanded his influence through fruit trading, biological research, and military contracts while Peter Parker became Spider-Man and Umbrella advanced its enhancement technology.

• Chen Changsheng fused with the Original Virus, transformed the Willow Tree, and escaped Hope Town before the military destroyed it with a nuclear strike.
• Chen Changsheng founded Umbrella Corporation, fought Mercer and Elizabeth in Manhattan, then learned the Doorway could lead to his original world and opened it.
• Chen Changsheng entered the Marvel world, absorbed a youth’s memories, befriended Peter Parker, and built Magic Forest with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.
• Chen Changsheng absorbed the Mutated Spider, developed Bio-Tyrants and cloning technology, and secured military contracts after showcasing the Tyrants.

Chen Changsheng became entangled in Dr. Otto’s fusion accident and Tony Stark’s battle with Obadiah, while expanding his investments and relationships. After helping Tony survive, Chen prepared to support General Ross’s hunt for the Hulk and arranged Umbrella’s affairs before leaving New York.

• Chen Changsheng funded Dr. Otto’s fusion project, rescued Rosemary during Green Goblin’s attack, and revived the burned Otto with Life Essence.
• Doctor Octopus robbed a bank but stopped when Rosemary revealed she was alive, while Spider-Man confronted Green Goblin and later saw him die.
• Chen Changsheng joined the military rescue of Tony Stark, who escaped captivity in the Mark I armor, and then bought Stark Industries shares after Tony announced the weapons division’s closure.
• Chen Changsheng sparred with Tony in his Lizard form, while Obadiah took the Mark I armor and built the Iron Monger suit using Tony’s Arc Reactor.
• Tony attacked the Ten Rings and exposed Obadiah’s crimes, but Obadiah stole his Arc Reactor and attacked Stark Tower before Tony returned in his armor.
• Chen Changsheng fought Iron Monger, threw Obadiah into the Giant Ark Reactor, and used Life Essence to restore Tony after the explosion.

Chen Changsheng helped General Ross drive Hulk toward Wakanda, stole vibranium amid the ensuing invasion, and gained weapons and influence from the United States. After facing government scrutiny and joining Tony Stark in Morocco, Chen collected samples from Thor and arrived at Tony’s villa as Rhodes confronted him.

• Chen Changsheng fought Hulk in Africa, then used Klaue’s information to help the US Military locate and invade Wakanda.
• As Hulk and the invading forces fought in Wakanda, Chen Changsheng stole vibranium and escaped, leaving Willow Tree and its cargo hidden underground.
• Chen Changsheng and General Ross returned to the United States with Wakandan weapons, and Chen received more than 1,500 vibranium spears and Kimoyo Beads.
• Chen Changsheng faced a government hearing over Umbrella Corporation, then traveled to Morocco with Gwen and Tony Stark.
• When Ivan Vanko attacked Tony at the race, Chen Changsheng intervened, knocked Ivan unconscious, and took his Arc Reactor.
• Chen Changsheng visited Mjolnir in New Mexico, fought Thor, and collected Asgardian blood samples before returning to New York.
• At Tony Stark’s villa, Rhodes put on an Iron Man Armor and fought Tony while Chen Changsheng recorded the confrontation and kept his distance from Natasha.

Chen Changsheng captured Ivan Vanko, recruited Max, and launched Umbrella Corporation’s nuclear fusion venture while expanding his plans for genetic research and space development. After discovering and infecting the imprisoned Kull, he revived Captain America and turned his attention to Mjolnir, where Hawkeye Barton tried to stop him.

• Chen Changsheng helped Tony Stark after his fight with Rhodey, guided him toward his father's hidden new-element design, and dismantled the Iron Man Armor with Dr. Otto to develop nuclear fusion.
• Dr. Otto’s Nuclear Fusion Reactor succeeded, and Chen Changsheng gathered energy investors and experts as Max died in an electric-eel accident and later returned as Electro.
• At Justin Hammer’s expo, Chen Changsheng protected Pepper, destroyed Ivan Vanko’s Iron Soldiers, and captured Ivan when he activated his armor’s self-destruct.
• Chen Changsheng restored Ivan in a Bugman body and offered him a place in Umbrella Corporation, then recruited the electrically changed Max to lead its Energy Department.
• Chen Changsheng announced Umbrella’s fusion plans, attracted global powers and investors, secured approval for a reactor, and funded new space, communications, and entertainment projects.
• While assisting with Captain America’s recovery in the Arctic, Chen Changsheng discovered Kull sealed beneath the ice, absorbed fragments of his consciousness, and infected the giant serpent with his viruses.
• Chen Changsheng revived Captain America, then traveled to Mjolnir’s landing site and had his insectoids fight Thor before he slipped into the crater and reached for the hammer.
• Hawkeye Barton shot an arrow at Chen Changsheng as he reached for Mjolnir, but Chen knocked it aside.
