According to Cai Ling'er's explanation, the Azure Sea Black Pool was not actually a deep pool. It was called the Black Pool because there was a stretch of sea in the Azure Sea that was as black as ink, resembling a black pool.
After entering it, not only would one's vision be obstructed, making it impossible to see far, even the range one's spiritual soul power could probe would be greatly reduced.
"Precisely because the Black Pool is so special, even if there are divine treasures inside, they won't be easy to find. It all depends on luck and opportunity. Remember, you mustn't venture too deep, or you may lose your way.
