Crazy?
Edmund certainly didn't think he had gone crazy, much less that there was anything wrong with this bold decision.
Standing in the command hall and watching dozens of delayed images transmitted through the collectors, the smile on his face never faded.
If the purpose of starting a war was merely to win or lose, that would be an utterly foolish and childish idea.
Most of the time, losing did not mean one had lost forever, and winning did not mean one had gained any real benefits.

Although those wanderers who had recently joined the shelter looked diligent and willing to work without complaint,
in essence, they were still the same as before—nothing more than parasites clinging to their host and constantly sucking its blood.

Under such circumstances, it was even more out of the question to have them take the battlefield and fight the Mole People.
Edmund dared to guarantee that if those Mole People truly united and launched an assault on Qinggang Shelter, the wanderers would flee no slower than they had rushed here to settle down.
Of course, after tonight, he believed the odds of that happening would become much lower.
"What an intense battle. It's hard to imagine that they're just a group of wanderers who have received one month of training."
"Tsk, tsk."
