For a small Gathering Place centered on farming, the arrival of winter was undoubtedly a severe blow to the village's economy and industries.
It had taken them several months to learn how to farm, and they had even completed an entire cycle from sowing to harvest.
In theory, they should have been entering a period of rapid development.
But reality was cruel. Winter's arrival forced them to find a new way forward.
It was only seven in the morning, yet the entrance to the fledgling village was already packed with people standing in line.
What was strange, however, was that none of those people looked displeased. Instead, every one of them was grinning as happily as if they were celebrating the New Year.
Those at the front of the line especially held their chests high, as though they were waiting to receive an honor.

In the cities, the Mole People often assigned them tasks. Once the work was done, they would exploit them with all kinds of excuses.
