Mist Mountain!
Like a miracle, the solitary peak rose straight from the ground, standing on a deserted island surrounded by the sea.
The mountain pierced the heavens, towering into the clouds as if it possessed endless power and intended to tear the sky apart.
Countless swaths of white mist curled around the mountain, growing denser and denser like a mysterious veil.
Some contestants watching the battle could not help widening their eyes, an indescribable shock rising in their hearts.
How high was this thing?
Even when the viewing perspective was pulled up to five kilometers above sea level, it was still difficult to see the mountain's summit. They could only vaguely make out a golden cauldron flickering in the white mist with rings of scarlet-gold light.
The light was scorching, scattering the dense mist around it.
The surrounding mountain walls it revealed were as smooth as if cut by blades, leaving nowhere for anyone to stand.
Even the small protruding platforms on some of the mountain walls were separated by dozens of meters.
Unless they could fly up, even fully equipped Sherpas would only be able to suck in a cold breath upon arriving here.
"Holy crap, is the final round really this insane? Who can climb that?"
"Don't even mention it. Just looking at it is making my acrophobia act up. This is terrifying as hell."
"If this mountain's difficulty were placed on Earth, wouldn't it be on the same level as Mount Everest?"
"More than that. I've climbed Mount Everest three times, and its difficulty is probably less than one-tenth of this mountain's."
"Exactly. Mount Everest has more than one well-developed route. It tests a climber's personal abilities more than anything else. Besides, how does that saying go? As long as you pay enough money, a Sherpa can
