The enhancement did not take long; it was over in fifteen minutes.

The balls of light were completely absorbed by Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight. When they landed, they saw Mo Li frowning as he pondered something.

"Eh? What's wrong, Senior Mo?" Ritsuka felt out her own strength and found that it had increased by at least several dozen times. The enhancement should have been quite effective, so why did Mo Li seem unhappy?

Mo Li looked at them and said, "There's something off about the enhancement. You need to understand that what strengthened you now wasn't magical energy, but divine power. Mo Li said with some frustration, "So logically speaking, I should have been able to strengthen you to the point where you possessed demigod-level physical abilities without divinity. After all, I really did invest a large amount of divine power into you. There's no reason for it to have only strengthened you to this extent."

Ritsuka was also puzzled when she heard that. "Uh? So what are our current stats? A huge amount of divine power was spent, yet the enhancement fell short..."
