Early the next morning, Ritsuka Fujimaru and the others witnessed Uruk's urban planning, a combat city comparable to those of the modern age, prompting Romani to voice his astonishment.
Ritsuka Fujimaru was not particularly surprised by this.
After all, this world seemed to grow stronger the further back in time one went. Modern Earth was so weak that it would explode if gods so much as bumped into it, while on Earth during the Age of Gods, even stellar-level fighters battling each other might not cause much destruction.
It would not even be surprising if, one day, the first humans suddenly appeared and beat up high-tech people from the future. This world simply seemed to operate that way.
Fortunately, everything went smoothly.
When they met Gilgamesh, everyone was quite surprised.
The person before them was not Chaldea's Chuunibyou Flash. At the very least, he did not possess that air of treating nothing seriously, being frivolous and cynical, caring about nothing, and looking down on everything.
This Gilgamesh was busy handling governmental affairs. He could memorize the information recorded on every clay tablet with a single glance, then immediately consider it and issue new orders, leaving everyone speechless.
His method of handling everything personally was astonishing. It looked as though he would not be able to finish his official duties anytime soon; he was extremely busy.
The group was in no hurry and first observed this version of Gilgamesh, whom they had never seen before.
Anna muttered softly, "He's different from the one at Chaldea. If it were Chaldea's, his attitude toward handling official duties probably would not be this good."
Artoria rubbed her forehead. "The one at Chaldea? He cannot be considered a tyrant, but he does have a bit of that in him. I can only say it is
