"Those are the Titan descendants you mentioned?"
Landen stared speechlessly at Alfred beside him.
"Yes, my lord," Alfred replied solemnly.
"All right, let's say they are..." Landen helplessly spread his hands.
Strictly speaking, the three Cyclops standing before him really did count as Titan descendants. In fact, as long as they were giants, they all carried more or less of the Titan race's bloodline and could be called Titan descendants. The only difference was the thickness of that bloodline. Frost Giants and Mountain Giants, for example, had relatively pure bloodlines. Not only were they highly intelligent, but some of them even possessed the ability to cast spells.
The Cyclops, however, were the exact opposite. The Titan blood in their bodies had faded almost to nothing. They had low intelligence, could not cast spells... and most importantly, they were malformed.
They only had one eye left. If that wasn't malformed, what was?
Therefore, when people mentioned Titan descendants, they almost never thought of the Cyclops.
"We... how... not Titan... de... descendants?" Hearing Landen's words, the Cyclops standing in the middle spoke up indignantly. Unfortunately, his Common Tongue was mediocre at best. He stuttered, omitted sounds, and, combined with his honest and simple voice, left people with only one impression.
Are all four of them idiots?
Landen glanced at the Cyclops and yawned. "All right, stop pretending to be clever. This claim that you're Titan descendants was probably taught to you by someone else, wasn't it? Tell me, why exactly did you come to me?"
"We really... Titan des... saw... saw you... you... you..."
He couldn't go on. It seemed his intelligence really was lacking. He couldn't even recite a memorized passage. While he was still struggling to "recite his lines," another Cyclops beside him lost patience and spoke bluntly.
"Follow you,
