Hiko drifted in and out of consciousness. He would occasionally wake, only to slip back into a coma amid severe headaches. He felt as though he had had an incredibly bizarre dream.
In the dream, the waves had carried him far, far away. Then a sea monster leaped from the ocean and swallowed him whole. After Hiko was swallowed, the sea monster carried him onward... Although the damage to Hiko's central nervous system was quite severe, his sensory abilities had finally recovered after getting away from Otsutsuki Kaguya. So even after being swallowed by the sea monster, whenever Hiko briefly woke up, he could still sense a little of his own condition.
However, the sea monster had not carried Hiko around for long before an even larger Sea Beast appeared. It did not spare the sea monster that had swallowed Hiko, biting it to death in one bite before devouring it in two more.
Hiko found it utterly absurd. At such a perilous moment, he could not even control himself, left to be carried all over the world by two sea monsters.
I wonder how Dressrosa is doing. Whenever Hiko briefly woke up, he would also spare a thought for the foundation he had built. Would Dressrosa, without him there to oversee it, become the target of other forces again? Was the Uchiha Alliance developing smoothly? Were the nations under its command obeying on the surface while defying it behind the scenes?
Hiko's condition flickered between clarity and darkness. He lay inside the Sea Beast's belly, not drawn into its stomach sac but lodged in a narrow space, waking and passing out over and over.
