A voice came from nearby. "Captain Kenpachi! You've got some nerve!"
Uchiha Hiko's grim, murderous voice came from not far away. His figure appeared unhurried, yet he arrived before them in the blink of an eye.
"Uchiha Hiko?" Shinji Hirako looked at the young man in the White Shinigami Uniform, delight appearing on his face.
"I finally found you."
Uchiha Hiko gave Shinji Hirako a faint glance. "Captain Kuchiki, Captain Kenpachi, why have you been relentlessly chasing Shinji Hirako?"
"Don't you know that Soul Society has already lifted the warrant for their arrest?"
Kenpachi Zaraki and Byakuya Kuchiki exchanged a calm look, both seeming somewhat guilty.
How did Uchiha Hiko know we were hunting Shinji Hirako? Though both of them had their doubts, neither spoke up.
Kuchiki Byakuya in particular seemed unwilling to explain anything. He simply closed his eyes, while Kenpachi Zaraki laughed heartily, looking somewhat awkward.
He had merely wanted to fight Shinji Hirako. Ever since Shinji had undergone Hollowfication a hundred years ago, he had never had the chance to encounter him.
Over the past century, however, he had heard plenty of rumors about the Visored Army. Supposedly, every one of them possessed captain-level strength.
That only made him more curious.
