Shizuku's long hair fluttered as she smiled helplessly. "I didn't want her to see this."
Just as Space Dragon was about to ask why, Uchiha Hiko appeared in front of Shizuku in an instant!
"Where did you go?" Uchiha Hiko did not know why, but the tension in his heart eased as he asked anxiously.
Shizuku raised her hand, stood on her delicate, snow-white toes, and caressed Uchiha Hiko's cheek. "Nowhere."
"I was only doing what I could do."
Uchiha Hiko immediately thought of her plan to detonate the Menos Grande, and urgency filled his gaze.
"Don't do anything foolish!"
Shizuku ignored what Uchiha Hiko had said and continued, "I just wanted to do something for you."
"Something that would make you remember me and never forget me!"
Shizuku shook her head. "No! Not yet!"
Space Dragon looked at the two before her, a trace of regret appearing in her eyes. "They make quite a pair."
Though she did not know exactly what had happened, the signs before her already explained everything.
Shizuku wanted even more to use her own life to make Uchiha Hiko remember her.
Deep confusion filled Uchiha Hiko's eyes. "Why? Why must you make me remember you?"
"Shizuku, come back with me! Even if I can't stay by your side."
"As long as you live, everyone will remember you!"
"Isn't that your wish?"
Shizuku smiled faintly without speaking. Her time had come. From the moment Uchiha Hiko said he had no choice but to destroy this space, she had already foreseen her own end.
She had been born from the memories of the Menos Grande in this space. Her origin was here, and so was her life!
Once this space was destroyed, Shizuku would have no source left to sustain her life!
This was her fate.
